Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - arguably the most spectacular safari destinations in Eastern Africa. Plus cultural interactions en-route to this destinations. Most tours are driven past these unique community areas leaving only trails of dust but we include visits to some of the villages to enhance understanding of Africa and support the communities initiatives and eco-safari projects and ensure some benefits from tourism reach the locals directly.

Day 1: Lake Nakuru park
Drive to Lake Nakuru Park for game drive and birdwatching. Overnight at Elementaita Lodge.

Day 2: Kikuyu farm visit / Loita
Excursion to a Kikuyu homestead for cultural interaction. Drive to Maji Moto (hot springs) in Loita hills for cultural interaction with the Maasai. Breakfast Maasai Bomas (homestead).

Nature walk to natural hot springs/spa. Overnight in a luxury mobile tents.

Day 3: Loita Walk
Interaction with Maasai Morans (warriors). Walk among wildlife. Learn about medicinal herbs. Warrior training activities (body decoration, wilderness survival tactics such as making fire from rubbing sticks, folk dances, spear throwing, arrow shooting etc.) Visit a local school cum rescue centre for the Maasai girl child from early marriages. Drive to Masai Mara for game drive. Overnight in luxury lodge/tents.

Day 4: Masai Mara game drive
Full day game drive in Masai Mara park. (Optional hot air balloon ride). Overnight the luxury lodge/tents.

Day 5: Lake Victoria’s Speke bay
Drive Tanzanian border Isebania/Sirare border crossing. Drive to Speke Bay Lodge in Mwanza. Sightseeing and explorations of Lake Victoria. Overnight at Speke Bay Lodge or similar.

Day 6: Lake Victoria / Serengeti park
Boat ride in Lake Victoria. Drive to Serengeti National Park for game drive. Picnic lunch en-route to Seronera Wildlife lodge for overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti Park.
Full day game drives in Serengeti. Overnight at Seronera wildlife lodge.

Day 8: Olduvai Gorge / Ngorongoro crater rim.
A pre-breakfast game drive (optional balloon safari). Drive to Ngorongoro. Stopover at the Olduvai Gorge – archaeological site. Overnight in luxury lodge on the crater rim.

Day 9: Ngorongoro crater / Lake Manyara.
Game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to Lake Manyara for evening game drive. Overnight in Manyara Luxury lodge.

Day 10: Cultural Mtu Wa Mbu / Arusha
Cultural exploration of Mto wa Mbu village. Walk through farmlands and villages (lookout for famed carvers, beer brewing, horticulture and community projects). Lunch at Eco boma camp. Drive to Arusha.
